The purpose of Birdbrains is to help people live in harmony with their parrots. Birdbrains is a Pet Parrot Behaviour Consultancy which helps parrot owners understand, train and look after their birds in the best way possible.

I conduct workshops online. Upon enrolment my book, “12 Weeks to the Perfect Parrot,” will be sent to you by mail and we will begin working from that book while keeping in touch by e-mail for six months. After that you can re-enrol if you want to go further with your bird’s training.

I also do home visits in the Gold Coast area.

Most of the challenges your parrot presents you with can be understood and overcome with time, patience, commitment and as little as ten minutes training twice a day.

• Hannah commenced Brisbane Bird Boarding due to the high demand for a quality companion bird boarding facility in Brisbane.
• Hannah has grown up with a menagerie of birds and a very strong veterinary background. Her father, Dr Adrian Gallagher, is a well respected avian vet and is the proud owner of Brisbane Bird Vet, Queensland's only exclusive avian practice. Hannah has worked with her father as a veterinary nurse since 2003 to present.
• The facility is for birds that have undergone a health examination with an avian vet and disease screening to minimise any risk of disease transmission. Your bird must be up to date with their annual health check by an avian vet and be screened for Psittacosis and Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease, if applicable for the species.
• Your bird will have time out of its cage daily, this time will be one on one between us and your bird. We will also provide foraging and environmental enrichment for your bird while in our care. We encourage you to bring all of their foraging toys with them while boarding.
• Through her experiences Hannah strives to make a quality bird boarding facility where your bird will be comfortable, healthy and happy.

• Worried about what to do with your pet bird when you go away for a few days?
