Birds for Virtual Adoption

Thank you for your interest in our Virtual Adoption/Sponsorship Program.

STEP 1 – Select the bird you would like to Virtual Adopt or Sponsor or select other options from the list below. 

STEP 2 – Complete the Virtual Adoption Form

STEP 3 – Payment

These are a list of some of the birds that the PRC houses permanently due to behaviour, health and disability issues.

We have only chosen a selective amount of birds for Virtual adoptions. If you cannot decide on a bird to choose you can select PRC please choose or Rescue/Foster birds on your form, which will help support birds that are in our care and foster birds.

We have listed the behaviour/health issues that each bird has next to their name.

• Major – Major Mitchell (Self Mutilator, Feather Plucking, Phobia, Nervous)
• Chocolate – Galah (Feather Plucking)
• Gerry – Galah (Broken Wing)
• Sweet - Sulphur Crested Cockatoo (Self Mutilator, Feather Plucking and One Wing)
• Elvis – Sulphur (Disability due to one foot missing)
• Sophia - Sulphur Crested Cockatoo (Feather plucking)
• Sammy - Sulphur Crested Cockatoo (Self Mutilator and Feather Plucking)
• Charlie 1  - Sulphur Crested Cockatoo (Blind, Feather Plucking, Phobia)
• Lucky – Sulphur Crested Cockatoo (Broken Wing, Malnutrition, Elderly)
• Charlie 2 - Sulphur Crested Cockatoo (Feather Plucking & Screaming)
• Dolly - Sulphur Crested Cockatoo (Feather Plucking and Self Mutilator)
• Kingston- Short Billed Corella (Aggression & Screaming)
• Buddy – Short Billed Corella (Obese, Aggressive)
• Rescue/Foster Birds - supports birds that are in our care and foster birds.
