• Parrot Rescue Centre has recently updated it's PayPal payment processing page. You will notice a different look from your previous payments with PayPal.

• The Parrot Rescue Centre Online Shop and Boarding has been putting aside $2 from each order and boarder to help donate some money to the RSPCA QLD Fairfield Shelter, who have been severely affected by the Qld floods. We will continue to do this through the remaining of this month and February.
  We have made a donation today of $200 to hopefully help the shelter, even in a small way. Donations great or small go along way, so please show your support.
  RSPCA QLD Fairfield have done a lot of work building facilities to house birds and successfully rehome the birds that come into their care. They have helped us tremendously over the years when we have been too full and we have helped them with birds that have not been suitable in normal rehoming situations. They are very dedicated to providing the best care possible to each animal that comes into their care and we would really like to see them back up and running as soon as possible.

• Just to let everyone know we are located in the hinterlands, about an hour away from where the flooding is located, so we have not been affected. Thank you for everyone's emails of concern.
• The new version of the PRC shop has now been launched. We hope you like the new set up and please email us any feedback. We will be slowly adding new features to the PRC Shop to help make your shopping experience easy and fun.

• The PRC will be launching an updated version of the PRC Online shop over the next couple of weeks. This will include a new checkout process where you will now need to set up an account to process your order. We are going to slowly upgrade this new account area, so that you can view previous orders and update your contact information etc.
• We hope that you enjoy the new shopping experience. We have undertaken allot of testing to ensure everything runs smoothly for you, but if you have any technical difficulties there will be a section on the left hand side of the shop home page were you can contact our web master directly or if you need help processing your order you can contact us directly on the contact information provided above.

• We are needing good homes for Sulphur Crested Cockatoos. Please click here for more information on adopting through the PRC.
• Due to Australia Post continually increasing their postage fees we are now going to have to increase our flat rate postage in the next couple of months from $8.50 to $10.00. We have not increased our flat rate postage fee for several years, so we hope that you will understand our need to increase this fee.
• We will also be offering an extra option for people who are wanting their parcel sent via registered mail. This will provide insurance of your goods and tracking.
