The Parrot Rescue Centre depends on your purchases to our online store to continue our rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming and adoption of pet parrots, so please help continue to support our cause by purchasing from us.
This page is updated every time there are new items added to the PRC Shop or when there is updated information added to the PRC website.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Remember no toy is ever 100% safe, so monitor your birds while they are interacting with their toys and when toys are deteriorating or looking dangerous remove them.

Notice to TASMANIA Customers
Due to Tasmania Quarentine requirements we are unable to send any seed products to Tasmania. This includes all Seed, Top It Ups, Nut Medley, Tropical Fruit and Vege Supreme mixes. We are still able to send pellets, tropimix, nuts in shell, nut and fruit mixes. If you require more information please email us.
 
FOOD Postage Notice:
If you live on the Gold Coast, Brisbane & Sunshine Coast (does not include rural areas and PO Box's) there are no additional charges for postage of food over 3kg. Maximum food weight that can be ordered at no extra postage cost is 20kg. All other areas will be charged extra postage if ordering over 3kg of food. Thank you for everyone's emails and posts on FB expressing their support! It is truly touching how many of you have become involved and are willing to help improve the lives of birds in need. You are all wonderful! We have just been told that the vet report has been mailed to us, so we will hopefully have this early next week, once received we will share it with you all. Hope you all have a great weekend!

DOC Update:

Dear Members and Friends,

We would firstly like to say a big Thankyou to everyone who donated to Doc’s cause. Your support is greatly appreciated! We have some really sad news; Doc did not make the surgery. We will receive a full report from the vet hopefully today to share with you all, which explains everything that happened in depth. In short she had a massive hernia.
The vet has kindly only charged us for the x-ray and blood work and not for surgery.
Christine has asked to have Doc cremated and her ashes thrown off a cliff into the wind, so she can finally fly free, we have respected her wishes. 
The total of the vet bill and cremation will be around $640 and we are happy to say we have so far received enough donations to cover this.
We received  a substantial amount of donations for Doc’s surgery, totalling nearly $5000 and because we specifically asked for help to pay for the ongoing care and vet costs for Doc and now no longer need it for this, we feel it is fair to offer anyone who wants their money back that they donated.
All of the remaining money will be put aside for vet costs and care associated with other rescue birds.
Also if anyone is aware of any birds in a similar condition to Doc, please contact us, we would like to help.
